The Alnico 2 Classic is a superb humbucker set for guitars that need more warmth, fullness and sustain.
At higher gain settings, the Alnico II Classic really nails the fluid distortion sound of players like Slash, who use the smooth attack and longer sustain of the neck to great effect during solos, and the tighter, fizzier tones available from the bridge for rock rhythm work.
All AC2 pickups are fully wax potted to avoid microphonic feedback, and come with supplied with #3/48 screws, springs and an installation guide.
Available individually or as a set. Four conductor wiring as standard on all models.

These pickups are very balanced. Nice lows and smooth highs. Highly recommended.
I love Tonerider pickups. So far I have the Alnico II, Alnico IV, Vintage Plus tele, and Birminghams installed and a set of Rebel 90’s waiting to be installed. Will likely order some Hot Classic teles as well. You can’t beat them. They are on par with the boutique brands that cost much more. I highly recommend them.
I purchased the neck pickup in a recent Telecaster build and paired it with an Alnico II Blues bridge pick up. All I can say is wow!! It has good, mid level output and is warm and articulate. Middle position with the Humbucker is an awesome place to be. A really solid product and I am loving it in a Tele!!!
The bridge pickup is an incredible PAF style pickup, better than any other of the "known" after market brands I have tried (I have already put them in 3 of my guitars). The neck on the other hand even though is good sounding and an accurate PAF reproduction it sounded "soulless" in 3 different guitars I tried it (Les Paul, Flying V, ESP LTD Eclipse).
Replaced the stock p/ups in an Epiphone Dot with these after reading great things about them in online forums. Not much better than the stock ones. May even go back to those.
